"New Activity" emails constantly

"New Activity" emails constantly

I used drop box 2 months ago to download photos for a new website.

The website is now finished and I cancelled my Dropbox account.

The last 2 days, I am receiving 20-30 emails a day saying I have "New Activity."

and a jpeg attachment of photos from my website,

The person whose name is attached says they are not sending these.

It is as if there is a glitch and their system keeps sending me dropbox photos.

Dropbox just tells me to come to this forum!

Any ideas from people far more informed than me?

Hey @MO58, thanks for reaching out about this!

Are the emails you're receiving sent by an official Dropbox address?

A screenshot of one of those emails, while making sure you hide any personal info, would also be really helpful.

Thanks and keep me posted!

Thank you for your help, Hannah.  Look forward to hearing your feedback on this issure.

At this point, I am trying to "block" any email I get from dropbox because they are coming so frequently.

Thanks for the screenshot and the update!

It seems like you somehow enabled the 'follow' option for the folder in question. This feature sends you emails about updates in the folder you choose to 'follow'.

But you can login to your Dropbox account and 'unfollow' the folder. This should stop the emails from coming in.
