How can I upload a file larger than 50GB?

I have 3T of storage with my dropbox account and am no where near the account limit but cannot upload a 60GB file.  How do I get permission to upload large files?  if I cannot ever upload anything more then 50GB then the dropbox solution offered is not a viable solution.

Hi @dwhitelaw, happy Monday!

When we're talking about files of that size, it's always best to use the desktop app and not the website. The app can handle content of all sizes.

However, when uploading through the website, there's a rough estimate of 50GB file size limit, though the larger the file the more problematic it is.

If you have any questions, let me know.

F All files uploaded to Dropbox can't exceed your storage space quota. There is no file size limit for files uploaded through the desktop or mobile apps, and files uploaded to dropbox.com have a maximum file size of 50 GB.

How are you trying to upload it @dwhitelaw ?

Are you getting any errors anywhere? If so what/where and screenshots would be good 🙂
