which dropbox paid subscription would be best for this program

New member | Level 2

Hey, I am a small museum educator and because of the pandemic, an onsite program that we share with our school district has to be done virtually this year. I have 12 artisans who would be uploading their videos to my personal dropbox, and then teachers will need to be able to access the videos on Vimeo after they have been uploaded. This will only be needed for the next three months for this specific event. Is there a plan that would enable me to best utilize Dropbox services? Which would you suggest?

Hi @alisondarby, thanks for messaging today!

The first thing I'd recommend is to determine how much storage you'll require when the people upload the files to your account. Generally, a Dropbox Plus plan with 2 TB should be enough for your needs.

You can also pay monthly, so you'll only need to renew the plan 3 times to use it for three months, after which it'll downgrade to a Basic plan.

For people to upload to your account, this can easily be done with file requests, so they don't need their own Dropbox account.

Let me know if you need any more information!
