Thanks for using Dropbox and helping test our beta build!  Here are the user-visible changes in v102:

  • Users will now only see installed app menu items in open with and share in
  • Users will now be able to install new apps from desktop and even more by linking to the app center
  • Updated the link settings modal so it does not show a blank page for links that are only available to invited people. This setting only applies within the share modal evolution experiment.
  • Updated the link settings modal UI to be consistent between link settings for cloud docs and link settings for non-cloud docs.
  • Added a new screen to allow customers to join existing teams in their organization
  • Some users will also see a prompt on the left-side menu of the Dropbox desktop app inviting them to join an existing team within their organization
  • Those same users will also see this option as “Join or create a team” when opening the account switcher
