Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes including the following:
 

Features in this update:

  • We're beginning to roll out new share modal experience for files

Fixed in this update:

  • Dropbox for macOS: Enabled sync for files with unusual filenames 
  • Dropbox for macOS: Fixed a crash that resulted in some users not being able to open the Dropbox app
  • Dropbox for macOS: Fixed functionality to preserve 'Last Opened Date' of files in Finder
  • Dropbox for macOS: Improved performance and reliability of migration
