Uploading hangs at 96% for no reason at all. Customer service had been ... unhelpful at best. MacOS 10.15.6 Even small files take over 15 minutes to uplaod with this error. Unlinking and relinking dropbox acocunt works for a few minutes then the problem reoccurs.
...and the previous build actually works ...until it updates automatically to this curent broken build. which is a nightmare. there has to be a way to stop auto updates. this is a huge disaster.
I believe that you can disable auto-update by entering these commands in Terminal.app:
launchctl unload "$HOME/Library/LaunchAgents/com.dropbox.DropboxMacUpdate.agent.plist” mv -vn "$HOME/Library/LaunchAgents/com.dropbox.DropboxMacUpdate.agent.plist” “$HOME/Desktop”
I would not be surprised if Dropbox re-creates that file from time-to-time. There are ways to fix that too, but this will suffice for the short term.
Unfortuantely that doesnt work, it updated anyways. Again. This build is so broken and nobody is doing anything to fix it quickly.
Ridiculous that theres no way to disable updating to a broken build. All files take at least 15 min to uplaod now even if they are tiny. This is CRAZY.
