Hey dsusanj,

I'm Billy from the Dropbox Desktop Team. As an update on the issue with opening Word files while Dropbox is running: We've identified the problem, and we were able to disable the offending code remotely. We've also been able to fix the root cause, and we won't attempt re-enable until the fix launches.  You should no longer be experiencing issues.

Thanks for the report!

Having an issue with this build where the windows system tray icon and status shown/listed...the icon shows the checkmark indicating all is in sync and the status under the build version says up to date, but the app is currently syncing files up to DB.  I can see this fact when I right click on the system tray icon.

Is the status under the verison nubmer referencing the version being up to date, or the files?

Either way, the badge on the tray icon isn't matching the app's actions.

Thanks.
