Thanks for using Dropbox! Here are the user-visible changes in v85:
  • You can now see the current folder path to the title of any open Dropbox App window.
  • Certain filesystem warning dialogs related to moving and deleting Cloud Docs now have more informative text, as well as the option to suppress the same message from showing in the future.

This update broke DB. All three of my Macs running the same DB account are now stuck on syncing. DB is now useless to me. Too bad we cannot avoid this version due to auto-update.

completely broken mine as well on windows 10 ...

updated and memory usage @ 3GB Plus and not syncing anything.

Dropbox.. you really need to stop this practise .. it is going to cost your business, because it is costing us users !

Syncing seems to have become a problem for me on W10.  Dropbox claims it cannot sync xxx.xxx as the file is in use - it isn't.  Manually pausing syncing and then resuming syncing seems to temporarily resolve the problem.

I have a syncing problem sometimes, dropbox show syncing files but never finish.

If i close and open dropbox client it solve the problem.

Do you recommend me install beta version to try to solve problem or wait to the next stable version?

Thanks.

Hi Windowdragon:

I tried reverting to 84.4.170 but autoupdate defeats that and I end up with only the latest corrupt version running. Is there a way around auto-update?

Thanks, Edwin
