Thanks for using Dropbox! Here are the user-visible changes in v92:

  • Added gated link settings for cloud docs.
  • When creating transfers, users can now set whether they want to receive notifications whenever someone downloads the transfer.
  • Improve compatibility with some antivirus providers.
  • Some users will see a new item, "Open with Web", in the context menu obtained by right clicking on most Dropbox owned Microsoft files in Finder/Explorer. The sub-options in this new menu item will allow the user to open the file in a cloud editor of their choice. Current sub-options are "Google Docs" and "Word for the web".
  • Fixed one instance of a rare bug where old notifications would permanently stick around in the tray even if you dismissed them.

Still not working properly on Windows 10. OSX appears to be working OK.

Same bug as in (and since) version 91.4.548, with constant crashing during indexing. Haven't been able to complete indexing or sync in a week (and some other people having the same issue have been stuck even longer). We are not even sure that our sync will work after it's completed indexing (if that ever happens...)

It's crazy that we are allowing a company this big to get away with ruining our businesses, especially for us paying customers. Dropbox is no-longer reliable (or viable) for our business. When we finally get to sync our files across our locations we are pulling the plug...

The windows app when syncing files to the local machine is not setting the permissions of the files to inhert that of the folder they are in.

Super agree!
The auto updating furtively update and restart and stuck on "indexing" for a long time and interrupt the business. Why not just let the administrator schedule the updateing?

Having serious problems with the build at a customer, gets stuck "downloading/uploading" files 2+ days with 0.00kb/sec.  Reinstallation of client does NOT fix the issue, in fact it results in getting stuck on "Starting..."  Customer has over 100,000+ files but under the 300,000 limitation.

This specific customer has Office 365 subscription so I'm considering moving to OneDrive if these things continue.  This services recently appears very unstable for being considered a "business" product.  Please correct these problems ASAP so the rest of us can get back to doing OUR job instead of troubleshooting YOUR job.
