Hello,
I have 2 files that are "invisibles" through sharing a folder via a link, and also never get syncronized by Synology Cloud Sync (Dropbox -> Synology). When opening the link from my dropbox session, I do see the files. When opening from a inPrivate web session, I got the message "Some files from this folders are not displayed, contact Dropbox support to know more".
I've checked both files on virustotal, they got zero virus detected. Both files are over 3 years old.
Any clue on what's going on?
Thank you.
Hi there @pokinwilly, I hope you're having a good day so far!
When you check this folder in your Dropbox account rather than through the shared link, are you able to open and preview those files?
If so, can you try deleting the shared link for the folder and creating a new one to see if that does the trick?
Let me know - thanks!

Hi Daphne,
It's really related to the files themselves :
I moved them accross several folders, issue follows the files.
I renamed one of them : same issue.
I zipped (with no compression) the file : issue disappear.
In fact, I detected the issue with a sync error on my Synology Cloud Sync (NAS could not download the file from Dropbox). As I copied the file to another folder and shared it for Synology support, I noticed the shared folder was empty.
So it's not linked to shared folder, but to remote access to this files in general.
Here is the link to the share folder (no personal data, no confidential content):
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wtqiowdzoopngef/AACveA9H1RjqZS4nf7paVVBQa?dl=0
I've just added a ZIP archive (files-with-issue.zip ) containing the "offending" files.
I suspect some "antivirus" on Dropbox side prevent remote access, but it would be a false positive, as 28 antivirus software on Virustotal see no issue.
Thanks for the info on this matter. Would it be okay if we reach out to your email associated with your forum profile to assist further?
