In December 2018, I shared a file and its subfiles to several people without Dropbox.  What message would they have received in their email about the invitation?

Thanking you in advance!

Thanks Mark! At the time, do you know what the recipients' email would have contained...have you any screen shots, for example?  I know the folder was shared, however, the recipients are saying they never received notification and I want to prove otherwise...hoping you can offer help:)

Hi @cliodhna, are these shared files, or shared folders you're referring to, since the wording of the email would be different?

Have they tried checking for any emails from no-reply@dropbox.com to see if they appear in their inbox?

Keep me updated with any progress!
