404 error when accessing App Centre on Dropbox Desktop App

Hi all

 

This morning I noticed a new "App Centre" icon on my Dropbox App. I am running Windows 10. When I clicked on it, it opens Firefox to https://www.dropbox.com/apps but a message is displayed "Error (404) We can't find the page you're looking for." Any idea how to fix this?

Could you let me know if you can open that same link with the following steps without getting the same error?

  • Opening the link directly in Firefox (copy and paste the link)
  • Clear your browser's cache
  • Use an incognito window
  • Use another browser

Both Firefox and Chrome has the same issue, but incognito mode works. Weird. But I will get it sorted on my end. Appreciate your help.

Thanks for the update @ITConsultingAfrica!

 

In that case, it seems like it may be due to a conflict with one of your browser extensions.

 

If you'd like to test it out further then I can suggest temporarily disabling the extensions one by one until you see the same results as with the incognito window.
