A video file has no sound when I play it through the mobile app. Any help?

when I play a video on my dropbox mobile app it plays it with out sound< how can I fix that

I'm sorry to hear about your mobile previewing issue - let's see what could be going wrong now!

At first, could you provide me with the following information so I can troubleshoot?

  1. Does this file (or files) preview normally on our website at
  2. What type (and extensions) are those files and how large in size?
  3. What OS and version of our mobile app are you on?
  4. Have you restarted your device to see if this does the trick for you?
  5. If you're getting any errors, could you forward me a screenshot so I can have a better look into this?
