Access to files sent in a link

Access to files sent in a link

I have been sent a dropbox link by email.

I created a free (max 2GB) dropbox account using the same email address as above.

I have responded to the verification email.

I still get the 404 message when I click onto the link and I cannot see in the DropBox dashboard if the files are already there.

Am I missing a step?  How do I access the files sent to me in the link?

Thanks in advance

JA

A 404 basically means file not found. The owner of the files has either delete them or removed the link. You'll need to contact them and request a new link.
