Accidentally deleted files

Received a message today from a client that all of the files in our shared folder were missing! When I logged in & saw that he was indeed correct, I checked my other files.....EVERYTHING IS GONE out of ALL BUT ONE of my folders!!!!

I have since checked the "Deleted Files" section, and it only shows a few that I deleted today. Then I checked in "Events", AND THERE THEY ALL ARE with no way to get them back 😭 It looks like I'm the one that deleted them, but I guarantee I don't remember doing that. It was absolutely an accident that I was completely unaware had even happened. What on earth can I do? I'm officially in PANIC MODE!

As long as it was within 30 days follow https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/restore-delete

 

You may need to rejoin shares first if you deleted them also: https://help.dropbox.com/files-folders/restore-delete/rejoin-shared-folder

Thanks for replying, Mark. Sadly, I'm just seeing this mess and it's been a little more than 30 days. *sigh*

If its over 30 days and you were not, at the time of deletion, a paying user I'm afraid they are not recoverable.
