Accidentally transferred ownership of a shared folder to another user

I made someone an owner thinking there could be two. I created it in my Dropbox and I want to control the size and invite new members to Share.

 

Can I regain my ownership? Can I still have creative control?

You can 'regain' control of the folder, but, the new owner needs to do that and send control back to you. There isnt a way of doing it yourself.

Hey @Dilowe, thanks for nudging us on this thread. 

 

If this is about a shared folder, you can have a look at your Share tab first, in case it's still there.

 

If it's not, you'll have to get in touch with the user and ask them to add you back.
