I've deleted my Dropbox account and received an email that says
This email is a confirmation that you've deleted your Dropbox account. Your files are no longer on Dropbox, but we haven't removed them from your computers.
I cannot see the files I need on my computer, where can I find them please?
Hi Wtull.
Did you have the Dropbox app on your computer with the files syncing between the cloud and the computer? If so, then if you to to your C drive, you should have a folder called dropbox. Or even, in your computer, at the bottom, on the right side, on your bar, there should be the dropbox icon that leads you to that folder.
If you never synced the files between the cloud and the computer, then you won't get to them.
Hey @Wtull, thanks for checking in.
Out of curiosity, did you manually search for the files as well?
Do you remember seeing the files locally in your Dropbox folder or moving them out of it by any chance?
