after trying dropbox business, I have los admin rights of the folders that were in my free personal dropbox account. How to restore my admin rights?

When you click the "Share" option for the folders, what permissions does it show that you have?
Do you see another user as the "owner" of the folders?

I'm sorry to jump in here; I just wanted to ask. Is it possible that you're currently in locked state?
In that case, everyone on the team will continue to have view-only access and further collaboration will not be possible. Team members will be able to leave at will if needed though.
Keep us posted on your findings.
