Can't make an alias any more of files. Is this intentional or is there a work around?

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with creating aliases to your files; could you let me know what exactly happens so I can have a look into this?

 

If you get any specific error, please send me a screenshot so I can have a visual too.

There is no longer a "Make Alias" in any dropdown menu (either Word or Dropbox) when I click on the document. And it is a document, not a file.

Are you trying to create an alias of a file already in the Dropbox folder? Does it work for files outside?
