Hey everybody
yesterday I have downloaded for the first time Dropbox and, without noticing it in the installation procedure, I have enabled sync of certain folders such as Documents and Desktop. Not being able to figure out how to "bring back" on my computer all the files belonging to the synchronized folders, I thought it was alright to delete my Dropbox account and create a new one. What happened is that after creating a new account (with the same Gmail access) all the files in the synchronized folder are gone! When I try to open the Documents folder, for example, I get the following message:
"The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “My files in Dropbox” can’t be found."
However, nothing changed in the storage of my computer, where I can see that Documents still account for 48GB of memory. Therefore, I think these files should still be somewhere on my computer but I am unable to find them.
Hope you guys can help me with that, I would be very grateful!
Thanks 🙂
Jay

Hey Jay
thanks for the reply. I have managed to find and recover my folders, they were indeed in the Dropbox folder.
So glad for that 🙂
