some data in an xls document accidentally got deleted. All the previous versions of the document on Dropbox seem to be identical to the latest version, even though many changes have taken place. Help?

Hey @whiskey16, can you confirm for me that you were working on an .xls spreadsheet? If so, I’m wondering how you used to go about modifying those files, did you by any chance do so locally on your pc/Mac? As you mentioned that you haven’t been able to locate the version you’re looking for on your account online, maybe this was saved elsewhere on the device you used to edit your spreadsheet; have you checked whether this scenario applies?

Any detail &/or visual aid you could include on this discussion would be very helpful (omitting personal info please), so as to ensure I’m following-up with you on the right thing. Thanks in advance!
