It would be nice to be able to set the battery percentage that you want Dropbox to stop it's 'Camera Upload' feature - currently it stops at about 20%, but 20% on my phone (OnePlus One) can be anything up to a day's battery life, which to me is plenty to continue uploading images. It would be nice to be able to set this in the settings to a % that the user feels comfortable with.
I have always with me two spare batteries plus a 12800mAh power bank.
I do not want Dropbox to pause uploading at 20%, I want to continue uploading until 0%.
@Oli, I'm afraid there is no way to track the feedback externally.
I have recorded both of these in our system. Really appreciate the feedback!
I originally thought it was 20% battery that Dropbox stops uploading at, but it's just told me to charge up at 30% battery! Stopping uploads at a third of the battery life is crazy!
+1 for me. Maybe just make it a checkbox even. "Check this box to allow uploads regardless of battery charge". It's so aggravating to have things arbitrarily stop working based on my battery level. 20% can mean anything, and I have extra batteries. Even if the default was to stop at some certain percentage for whatever reason, give us the option to continue anyway, pretty please? I can be responsible for my own battery life.
Looks like this request has made it into the app Thumbs up to Dropbox!
Still a battery level lower than 10% cannot be chosen. Thumbs half way up
