App Will Not download on my laptop

App Will Not download on my laptop

Explorer | Level 3

I purchased a laptop and downloaded the Dropbox app.  Then I had to exchange the laptop for a replacement one.  I asked the tech help to change my user name, now unfortunatly I have 2 Users names.

 

I can see my Dropbox account held in one of my Users names.  I'm unable to download the app to my desktop on my laptop.

 

Any help would be most welcome in layman terms please!

Hi @AnnieSuzie; welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!

 

I'm not exactly sure what the issue is here; could you try downloading and installing the desktop app from the following link and let me know if you get any specific error message(s)?

Thank you for replying I've only just found your message.  I seem to have 2 Users names on my Windows C drive.  Everytime I try and download the app I get a message saying there's a conflict.  I just don't know how to solve this problem.  I've used Dropbox for many years.  I've only had this new laptop a couple of weeks ago.  Thanks Walter.
