Appearing message that says my account is full

I have a personal account for my own files and folders, but i share a folder with my boss. He has a susbcription to Dropbox business. When i try to add files to his account or shared folder i am not able to do it and a message pops up saying that my account is full and it needs to be upgraded, is there anyway i can add this files to his account without upgrading mine?

Hi @Rafael Gonzalez , thanks for messaging the Community!

 

As you’ve discovered, shared folders do take up quota on your Dropbox account.

 

If you just need to upload files to their account, you can ask them to create a file request, and the files can be transferred that way.

As you’ve discovered, shared folders do take up quota on your Dropbox account.
