I made sure that each image spans the entire slide, so each photo is viewed full-screen. While the video takes up the whole span of the screen when viewed on VLC Player and QuickTime (which is what I want), the sides of the slides are blackened out when viewed on Dropbox (which I do not want). Please advise.
I used Keynote to make and the record the slideshow
I used 3:2 as the Slide Size in Keynote
I exported a 1080p version and a 1024 X 768 version using Keynote, and the result was the same either way
I have an iMac
The first image is the one with blackened sides and is what I am trying to fix; the second image is what I want, but not what Dropbox produces
The video container on the page isn't tall enough to allow the video to fill the playback canvas at the given aspect ratio - so it scales the video down and puts it in the middle of the canvas, hence the black bars.
There is no way you can change this for Dropboxes preview.
