Camera Upload with iCloud Photos with Optimize iPhone Storage option turned ON

Hi.

I'm referencing to this both articles:

1. Set up and use iCloud Photos 
2. How to use the Dropbox camera upload feature 

I have no strict answer: if I turn iCloud Photos ON and Optimize iPhone Storage all new photos and old photos will be uploaded to Dropbox Camera Upload with their original quality, or the quality of images will be reduced?

If a photo in my Camera Roll shrunk by iOS does the Dropbox app ask iCloud to download the original, big file to put it inside the Camera Upload folder in my Dropbox account or what?

Can anyone clarify this question?
