Camera uploads for iOS doesn't work consistently
On my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.3 and Dropbox for iOS 218.2.10, my Camera Uploads feature doesn't work consistently. As soon as I take a photo, I expect that it will upload to Dropbox. Instead, most of the time, I see photo 1 and then photo 2:
However, at SOME point, the photos always seem to get uploaded EVENTUALLY when I'm not looking! I don't know when it happens, and I haven't noticed a pattern (e.g. when charging/not charging or when on wifi/cellular). Sometimes, it seems to happen hours or days later (rarely if ever a few seconds or minutes later).
I want to be able to take a photo and have it immediately upload every time. I have already cleared my cache recently, and that didn't seem to help. Please help!
What settings do you have in the camera upload options on your iOS device? Are location services enabled for the app?
Could you try disabling camera uploads completely, reboot the phone, and then re-enable it to see if this helps?
