I understand that the free version of Dropbox does not allow file sharing with others via downloading files?  Can I or my clients download files with the paid version?

Thanks for the info but I think you missed my question. In this particular case, I don't want to share a file with someone else. I want to download a file I previously uploaded.  If Dropbox has a file download function, I and my clients cannot find it.

Hey @Evad, apologies for the late response here!

You can download anything that you have uploaded into your account (including shared content) from the website. To do this you can follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the the file from your Files page.
  2. Select the file you want to download by ticking the check box to the left of the file name.
  3. From the right side of the page, click the option “Download”.

If you are still having this issue or having trouble with doing this, please let me know in a little more detail what isn’t working as expected for you.

Hope this helps - Thanks!
