Can I drag and drop files from the "upload files" link?

Helpful | Level 5

I'm using dropbox.com to manage files and folders. This is a personal account.

If I'm on the Home tab and use the Upload Files link, can I drag and drop that file into an existing folder (after upload)?

Or is it best practices to upload a file directly into a folder?

Kind regards.

Hi @rtcaz, thanks for reaching out to us.

Once you click on the Upload files option, you have to click and select the file you want to upload.

You can also find the file you want to add to your account locally, and drag and drop it to the website directly from your Finder or File Explorer.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!
