Can I restore photos from my family trip on an old account?

New member | Level 2

Hello, A few years ago I saved the whole gallery of the pictures of a familly trip ( a few thousands) in dropbox, and it was the only place we saved it. I haven't touched the account in that time and now I cannot find any of the files. It would be a pitty if all the pictures and the memories would be deleted. Me and my family desperately ask for your help.
Thank you.

Hi @Harel, thanks for posting today!

I'm sorry to hear about the missing files. It sounds like you haven't accessed your Dropbox account for some time. If this is the case, the Dropbox automatically deactivates accounts that haven't been used in over 12 months.

Due to this, it wouldn't be possible to reactivate that account in order to regain access to the files, unfortunately.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If there's anything else I can assist with, please let me know.
