Can I upgrade to a higher Dropbox account and get the option to retrieve deleted files for 180 days?

Explorer | Level 3

Can I upgrade to a higher Dropbox account and get the option to retrieve deleted files for 180 days and then, should I wish, be able to downgrade my dropbox account.

I am currently on a 2TB account.

I hope someone can advise me asap.  Thank you.

If you upgrade from Plus to Professional your recovery period will be extended from 30 days to 180 days. However, this does not mean you will be able to recover files that were already beyond the 30 day limit before upgrading. Those files would already be gone and cannot be recovered. Instead, any newly deleted files would be recoverable for 180 days, as long as you maintain your Professional subscription. When you downgrade, you'll lose the 180 day recovery period.
