Can't create new folder in Dropbox folder in Mac

Hi,

 

I'm on Macbook Pro Big Sur. 

 

I can't create new folder when I'm inside the Dropbox folder.  As you can see, the New Folder option is being greyed out.

 

This is so frustrating bcs I can create new folder just fine on the other folder outside Dropbox. 

 

Fyi, I can create folder just fine in Web Dropbox.

Hello there @RickyW, thanks for posting on our Community and happy Friday!

Just to make sure I got this right, can you walk me through the exact steps you take when you get this screen?

Also, can you send us a screenshot of the app's exact status as shown in your menu bar

Did you install it with admin privileges in the first place?

Any additional information is more than welcome, Ricky!

Hi,

 

Found the problem. Was using a colleague's computer and she doesn't have the Edit function enabled.
