Can't delete old sync files from my PC hard drive

New member | Level 2

I have unsynced the Dropbox app from my pc but the hard drive still shows that there are 600gb of files still there.  There is also still a link to a Dropbox folder under my users on my C: drive.  How do I delete these files from my PC?

Hi there @Gray_LL; welcome aboard and thanks for using Dropbox!

If you have already unlinked your account from the app or uninstalled the app completely from your computer, you can delete your Dropbox folder to make up space on your computer's hard drive as this is now a local (non-syncing) copy of the files you have in your Dropbox account.

Let me know if you have any more questions!
