Hi community, I’ve been having troubles with this for long time and I cannot figure it out.

basically I have a file when I keep track of my number each month, created with the app Numbers on Mac which is like an Excel...

I can only modify this file from my computer, but when I try from my iPhone or iPad I can only see the file but not edit it... am I doing something wrong? I don’t have to share the file, because I always use the same account, correct?

could you help me?

thanks so much

Hi there, most likely it isn’t possible to edit the file via the Dropbox mobile app, unless you open it in Numbers on the iOS device.

Are you able to try exporting the file to Numbers on iOS to see if you can edit it from there?

Hello, I have the same problem. However, when exporting and editing the file in .numbers on my phone, I noticed the edited file is not saved on my Dropbox.

Therefore I cannot see the changes on my computer and the whole point of Dropbox is lost.

Any other suggestions as to edit .numbers files shared via Dropbox?
