Can't remove my laptop files from Dropbox

Can't remove my laptop files from Dropbox

At one point Dropbox asked if I to add my laptop files to Dropbox.  I mistakenly said yes and now it automatically adds laptop files to Dropbox.  I can not delete the folder that says "My PC".  I have deleted folders with in this folder but I would like dropbox to stop syncing these files.  The other problem is Dropbox says it will delete from Dropbox and my computer if I delete the files!!  I can turn off sync'ing for my laptop but then I can't sync any other files I work on to my other devices.  Getting frustrated, I just want the file gone.  I have tried to following suggestions on Google but none of them work.  I would appreciate any advice.

Hi @ALock, thanks for joining our Community and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Could you please try these steps to disable the computer backup feature and let me know if they helped improve matters?

Thanks a bunch!
