Can't rewind dropbox

Hello, so a file was deleted on my account and then permanently deleted from the "deleted files" tab. This was less than 2 weeks ago and I tried to rewind to that moment, but the event doesn't show, and I can't rewind to that point in time. I tried uploading a random file today and then permanently deleted it, but it still doesn't show up in the events tab, nor can I rewind to restore it. Is this how it's supposed to be? If you permanently delete something you can't rewind to the point when you uploaded it? The file is not on my shared tab, neither was it uploaded on another account.

Yes, you're correct in your assumption: Permanently deleted files from our website through the deleted files page are indeed unrecoverable.
