Cannot Save to SD Card

Cannot Save to SD Card

New member | Level 2

Hello, Dropbox experts--

I recently purchased a new Android phone and have installed Dropbox on it--no problems there. Because the phone only has 64GB internal memory, I purchased an SD card, on which I've put some media already--the phone recognizes that it is there.

However, when I try to "Save to Device" from the Dropbox app, I cannot select the SD card. I followed the steps here:

However, when I get to the Note about what to do when you do not see the SD card, I cannot follow the instructions because there is no "Menu" button to tap--I just have the internal storage listed and can select a folder on the internal storage, create a new folder, export to a selected folder, or cancel.

I'm not sure how to get the Menu button to appear.

My phone is a Moto G Power running Android 10. The Dropbox App is 210.2.2

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Potemkin78, thanks for messaging today!

I'm sorry to hear about this. The Dropbox mobile app should be able to locate any folder that is available on the Android device that it has access to.

Could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and reinstalling it to see if it helps?

Could you forward a screenshot of this in case it persists.
