Yes it’s been resolved. First going into IOS settings App on iPad and scrolling down to Dropbox and checking in there that Photos and read and write are enabled( they were). And that background app refresh is on ( it was ).

next opening Dropbox app and Accounts (bottom menu), scrolling down  to camera upload and checking its on( it wasn’t) then checking videos option is on after enabling camera upload( it wasn’t).

after this going to photos and seeing video is slowly uploading!

many thanks for the help and support!

Hey there @Jq1,

Can you let me know if you are trying to upload the video manually through the app or via automatic camera uploads?

Also since this is a long video, can you please check the space available in your Dropbox account and see if you have enough space to upload this video? You can see your available space by tapping on the Account tab within the Dropbox mobile app and you’ll need to check the size of the video from your camera roll.

I’m looking forward to hearing back from you - Cheers!

Hey again ,

Can you please check the actual size of the file in GB for me? You can’t directly do this from the Camera roll I understand, but you can easily work around this so I suggested some steps below to do so:

Spoiler

  1. Locate the video within the camera roll.
  2. “Share” the video and save to your Files app in any location.
  3. Navigate to the Files app and you will see the size of the video.

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Jq1,

Thanks for that info! So let me ask you a few other questions to see if we can narrow this down a little further:

  • Does the issue persist over a different WiFi connection?
  • Can you try disabling WiFi temporarily and use cellular data instead?
  • If you keep the app open when attempting to upload the video, do you see any progress after a reasonable amount of time?

Let me know what you find - Thanks!

Hey @Jq1, thanks for that screenshot!

Would you mind just trying to clear the app cache to see if this helps at all with the steps in the spoiler below:

Spoiler
1. Open the Dropbox app on your device.
2. Tap the Account tab.
3. Tap the gear icon in the top left corner.
4. Select the option to “Clear cache”.
After doing this, can you try manually uploading the video through the Dropbox app again using the “+” button along the bottom of the screen within the app.

Let me know how it goes - Thanks!
