Looks like you have mounted a share where you haven't "Can edit" permission. If owner can't grant you such permission, for some reason, the only option left to unmount the particular share. If some parts of the share are needed still, keep a copy. Navigate to shared folder list. Find the share your are talking about and "Remove from Dropbox" through associated ellipsis menu. 😉 Now it's gone and you have free space.
