Client with 'can edit' permission is still not able to edit. She has uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox.

I have then removed her permissions and reinstated them as 'can edit' but she still can only read the shared files.

Hi there @Janet62, thanks for reaching out to us about this.

I'd be more than happy to help, I'll just need a bit more info, such as:

  • Where are they accessing the files from? The website, the desktop app, or the mobile app?
  • Are they opening the files via a shared folder or a shared link by any chance?
  • Are they getting any errors? If so, a screenshot (without any personal info) would be very helpful.

Let me know what you find!
