Create new LaTeX formulas in Paper mobile app

I've been recently trying out Paper and has very happy to see it has support for LaTeX formulas. I was able to add, view and edit formulas from the Dropbox Paper web app, but in the Android Paper app, I can only view and edit existing formulas in a Paper document, but not add new formulas. Is that correct or did I miss some trick needed to add new formulas from the Paper Android app?

If adding new LaTeX formulas is not currently supported in the Android app (which seems odd, since the app can already render and edit existing formulas), is this feature planned?

Formatting options, like LaTeX formulas, are not currently supported on the mobile app I'm afraid.

If you'd like to, you can post this in our dedicated area of the Community here as a request for this on the mobile app.
