How do you delete a message from Notifications?

Click the ellipsis (three dots) or right-click the notification and select Dismiss notification.

When I do the dropdown menu on the icon it states "All Quiet for Now" in the notifications tap. But at DropBox.com there is a notification in the Notification area, but there there no three dots in the upper right corner.

The step above is for the Dropbox app on your computer. There's no way to clear the notifications from the Dropbox website.

So I'm still stuck with that number always showing on the icon on my Desktop?!!!!!!!

Here is the screen shot. In the app is shows no notifications.
