I signed up for dropbox this morning in order to store a pdf. On downloading, I realized that it was adding everything from my files and soon exceeded the 2 GB limit. Since the account was useless by then I deleted that account, which also removed all of the files from my desktop. Are they all permanently deleted? Is there any means to recover them? Since realizing that I have made this account in order to find an answer.
Hey there @Seamus413, I'm sorry to hear about the situation!
Can you just clarify for me, do you still have the Dropbox folder on your computer?
If so, can you please make sure that you have the option to "Show hidden files" enabled on your computer, and let me know if you can see the files within a "My PC/Mac" backup?
Let me know and we'll go from there!
