Deleting from laptop no longer in use

I am new to dropbax and want to delete the app and files from one of my laptops (laptop is no longer used). If I delete the app and all the files with it does that delete the files on the other computers?

Hi @doveman, thanks for posting!

Before uninstalling the app and deleting the Dropbox folder, I'd recommend unlinking the device from your security page here. You just need to click the trash can to the right of the device.

Once your account is unlinked from the app, you can proceed with uninstalling the app and deleting the Dropbox folder on the computer without it affecting the files within your account.
