Desktop App sign out unlinks device?

Desktop App sign out unlinks device?

PaulCommFun
New member | Level 2

When I "sign out" of my Desktop App,   and then sign back in,    the sign in screen says  "setup dropbox"  and then Im issued another link code,   After I put in the link code,  it has to resync my entire dropbox folers.    Is this a bug?

thanks very much in advance, for any help would be appreciated

No, that is intentional - you signed out so it unliked your device.

When it unlinks it removes all of the databases etc. on the device so it needs to rebuild them
