Desktop Is Gone!

Desktop Is Gone!

Skip1015
Explorer | Level 3

I loaded the latest version of Dropbox.  I very seldom use it and only need the basic version.
It wants to backup my entire PC and then, of course, Dropbox fills up and they want you to subscribe to a premium version.
Is Dropbox getting greedy?  I don't need them to back everything up to their servers!
Currently my entire desktop is GONE!  What kind of program does that?

How can I get my desktop back and stop Dropbox from taking control of my entire PC?

This is very frustrating.

Hey @Skip1015, thanks for reaching out.

We do appreciate your feedback, as it seems that you have enabled the computer backup feature on the Dropbox application.

You can disable the feature and move your files back to their original locations by following the steps here.

Let me know if you have any questions.
