Direct Download Links Not Working on IOS

There appears to be an issue with dropbox links on IOS.

Take the follow example link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/r9shllq5lplxai5/cover.jpg?dl=1

It works perfectly on a windows browser, or even android. But it will fail with any browser on IOS.

Could you send us a screenshot of the exact error message you get when you try to download the item using an iOS? 

Are you able to download in general or is it only specific to shared links?

@Lusil Hold the phone. I just realised it is because it is not sharing a link that doesn't need auth. If I open incognito on windows machine, I get the same 404. Would be nice to have a error message about not having that auth rather than a 404
