I shared a link with myself and saved it to my phone a quiiiite a while ago but I went back to click on it just now and it says the link is disabled. There’s no trace of this video being in my Dropbox and I’m really confused. I don’t think I deleted it but I’m getting really concerned because it holds some sentimental material. I can’t even remember where I sent it from. Plz help.

So I think I have it figured out. I was lucky enough to have my old Dropbox files on an older pc. I realized I had an older Dropbox account (with this video I was looking for) that was inactive and therefore deleted. I still have the files on the old laptop though so I think I’m okay.
Thank you for your quick response, truly appreciated!

Hi @Jonahaha; welcome to the Dropbox Community!

As you found out, shared links will break if the file has been deleted from its Dropbox folder.

Could you please check to see that the file is still located in your Dropbox folder?

You can look at your deleted files on the following page:

Let me know what you find!
