Disconnect between space used and actual files

Help! Please! My Basic account will not let me upload anymore files. It says I’ve used 60.4% of my total, yet the files I have don’t even come close to that. I delete files on a regular (daily) basis , yet still no space available for new files. In the past, I have had many more files in Dropbox without an issue. What is going on, please? Thanks so much!

Hi there @RWBphoto; thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

 

Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you let me know what is reported in your account's plan tab in regards to your quota breakdown?

 

Also, do you have issues with uploading single files or batches of them? 

 

If you get a specific error, I'd appreciate a screenshot so that I can have a visual too.
