Do I need to transfer files when I upgrade to a Family plan?

Do I need to transfer files when I upgrade to a Family plan?

If I change my Dropbox Plus account to a Dropbox Family account, I assume I can move my files into the new Family account structure? Or do I have to upload them again (which I doubt)?

Thanks.

Hi @Kent M.3, thanks for messaging the Community!

When you upgrade to a Dropbox Family plan from an existing plan, you won't need to do anything different with your files.

Their locations will remain the same on the site, and you won't need to transfer them again. You should immediately see the upgrade visible on the plan page.

If you need any more details, feel free to message back!
